Free Collection & Free Return

Free collection and Free return, only comes into effect if you book for 7 nights or more. This is subject to seasonal time. We may not always be able to offer this if we have dogs that we are not able to leave at home. We cannot agree to offer collect or return until we are sure of the dogs we have for that period. We can commit within 2 weeks of the commencement of your stay if we will offer free collect and return.

Payment

To secure your booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Should the dog’s stay be cancelled less than 10 days prior to admission, full payment will be due. A booking is not 100% confirmed until the booking form and the deposit has been received by Pets @ Mine. The remaining 50% is required on the first day of your dogs stay. If payment is not made at this point, a late payment fee will be added to your total of £25.00.

Damages

If your dog damages any items in our home, we will try to replace with a second hand version of the item where possible and ask you to cover the cost of said item. This includes chewing, ripping or defecating on items which belong to Pets @ Mine and/or customers items such as dog beds and their contents. A receipt will be provided.

If you select yes for your dog is house trained, and they make more than 1 mistake* per day, we reserve the right to charge for clearing any mess (this could include things like professional carpet cleaning, dry cleaning of curtains etc). A £5 per day charge will be added to your total for cleaning any additional mess which will be payable on the last day of their stay with us. This does not include items that are in need of professional cleaning.

If any damages are made to the outside of the building or garden (digging up grass or plants), we reserve the right to charge for replacing and labour to do so.

Safety

Please ensure that leads, collars, harnesses etc. are in good condition, fit for purpose and the correct fitting to ensure your dogs safety at all times.

All dogs will be walked 2 x a day on a lead, however, should you wish your dog to be exercised off lead please indicate this on the booking form along with you accepting responsibility of any out come of this action. This includes if your dog causes a confrontation with another animal and causes harm.

We take great pride in the care of any animal in our charge, however, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury or death caused to any animal whilst in our care.

In Special Cases

Should it prove necessary, for your dogs safety, we reserve the right to kennel your dog. The charges for this will be met by you and the costs of your dog stay here will still apply.

Medication

Please supply any medication with full written instructions, not only of doses, but how your dog has experienced the administering of such. This will be charged for at £2.50 per day.

Extra Important Details

All dogs are to have up to date inoculations (kennel cough discretionary at your choice), be de-flead and wormed prior to admittance.

Please ensure that any special instructions are given in writing with full detail.

In some instances, we may have to arrange for your dog to visit the vet. You are liable for any costs incurred for this. Pets @ Mine will ask you to provide payment to us via Bank Transfer, and Pets @ Mine will then pay the vets. A receipt will be provided.

Should you be unable to collect your dog on the arranged day, please contact us immediately to re-arrange collection or to arrange delivery. If no contact is made within a reasonable time, Pets at Mine will endeavour to re-home your dog.

*Mistakes = a wee or a poo inside the house, on wooden floors.
