Do you have kennels or will my dog stay in your home?

Your pet will be cared for in our own home, we do not send your pet to someone elses home who you will never meet (agencies). We do not use any cages or kennels. We invite you to come and see our home and ask any questions that you feel you need answered at the time. We want you to be totally happy with us, so you can go away and enjoy your break.

Why should I choose dog boarding/sitting?

Dog boarding/sitting is best for calm loving caring dogs. The whole idea is that they stay in a home, and are looked after just as they would be at home. We ask that you give us some instructions so that we can keep them in their routine. This not only helps them, but us too. Your dog will come back happy and relaxed, not quiet and sad.

What should I bring with me for my dog being boarded?

  • Collar and leash

  • Enough food for the duration

  • Treats that you would normally give them

  • Dog bed

  • A towel (optional)

All of the above should be considered for when your dog comes to stay. If you would like to ask about anything that you feel you should bring, please feel free to contact us.

Should I bring my dog along to meet you and your dog Jack?

We request that you come and meet us and Jack. The reasons for this are for the safety of your dog and other dogs that will stay at the same time. We need to ensure the dogs that stay with us will not present a problem at any point during the stay. We look for things like initial greeting, general behaviour whilst around Jack, how do they handle Jack greeting you and other different criteria.

We also want you to have a look around the house and the area to ensure you are happy with the surroundings and be convinced that your dog will have a good time.

If all is agreeable, we will ask you to pay for deposit ASAP to ensure you secure your time period with us.

Peak times, and when will they affect me?

Peak times are days such as public holidays. For all public holidays, we charge double for the day. For example, May Day is a public holiday, so if its then, we will charge double the daily/nightly fee. For Christmas time, we charge double from 24th December until January 2nd. This is due to this being a period that we would like to keep back for ourselves, however we can fit that in.

Pets at mine are generally extremely busy during March April, May. June, July, August, September and late December. If you are booking for these times, we highly recommend you do this as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment

When should I pay for your service?

When you come for your viewing, we ask that you come with a view to placing your order either then, or very soon after. A 50% deposit is necessary to secure your booking and this is non-refundable. The balance should be paid on the first day of your dogs stay with us.

What do I need to bring with me if I book with you?

For your dogs stay, please bring along the following:

  • Dog bed

  • Dog lead & collar

  • Food to last the duration plus any treats

  • 1 durable toy

  • Some text about your dog so we are able to keep them to a normal routine

Extra Terms & Conditions

If your dog's stay is less than 7 nights, and is not collected before 12pm on the final day, a day care charge of £ 12.00 for a small dog and £ 15.00 for a medium dog will be added.

We charge double the rate for all bank holidays, and from 24th December until 2nd January. Bookings for peak times such as half term and summer holidays are advised to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment.

In all cases, a 50% deposit is required which is non-refundable. For more information, please consult our Terms and Conditions

If your dog is not listed, please write in the Further Details section of the booking form.
